Emerging Housing Assistance

We are looking to raise $1,000 to help a someone with an acute housing problem. While a longer term solution is being worked on, we need to provide him a place to live. He's a good soul, deserving of our help and support. If you would like to help - you can do so through Pico Shul and get a tax deduction.

We are reaching out to the community to help Jews in critical need. Pico Shul occasionally provides emergency aid funds to our community members who need help with paying their bills in times of financial difficulty and/or tragedy.

Funds are needed urgently to help Jews in our community and your contribution can help keep the lights on for these people.

Please open your hearts and help us keep the lights on!

Rabbi Yonah and Rachel Bookstein

Your contribution in any amount brings us closer to our goal of helping alleviate this urgent financial crisis.

Please let us know the best email address to send you an acknowledgement letter for your contribution. Your contribution can be counted as personal Tzedakah and as Maaser.  Contributions may also be tax deductible, and we want to thank you!

Pico Shul has an ongoing partnership with Tomchei LA which provides for families and individuals in need in Los Angeles. As part of our commitment, volunteers from Pico Shul drive a route each week delivering food to food-insecure families. In addition, Shul members volunteer on a ongoing basis to pack boxes every Thursday night.
