Terms & Conditions

Pico Shul Alevy Jewish Learning Center is a division of Beth El Synagogue, along with its respective events, classes, seminars, retreats, trips, dinners, and programs, including but not limited to "Camp Neshama," “Kesher” or “Kesher Institute” and other divisions and projects. Pico Shul, Camp Neshama, Kesher or Kesher Institute, and Beth El Synagogue are hereby collectively referred to as the "Organizations."


1. Following the purchase (or as part of the purchase process) of the Organizations ticket(s) or other product(s), individuals may be asked to complete a survey or questionnaire in order to participate in the program. If the survey is not completed or if any or all of the conditions are not met, the Organizations have the right to cancel any registrations made.


2. The Organizations, it's partners, and/or affiliates (as the Organizations determine) reserve the right to refuse online entry, in person entry, and/or participation to any individual(s) as the Organizations deem it to be necessary, after which a refund will be processed for the applicable ticket(s) and their respective prices paid.


3. This ticket is non-transferable and only one ticket is valid per ticket purchased. Upon special request, and at the full discretion of the Organizations, an exception may be made under special circumstances.


Unless otherwise stated, retreat registrations are refundable up to 1 month prior to the retreat start date. Up to 2 weeks before the start date, one half of the registration is refundable, minus $25 which will be retained for the associated administrative costs.


4. Participants may be put into smaller groups for the different parts of the program(s). The Organizations, its partners, and/or affiliates (as the Organizations determine) reserve the right to establish and sort these groups based on the survey question(s) and other relevant information, at their discretion.


5. Any persons who are exhibiting inappropriate behavior, may be asked to leave the online Event and/or in person Event (including but not limited to class, seminar, dinner, retreat, trip, or other program) and no longer participate in the Organizations, its programs, or other affiliated events. The Organizations are under no obligation to provide a refund under these circumstances, and any possible refund is at the sole discretion of the Organizations.


6. The Organizations, it's partners, and/or affiliates (as the Organizations determine) have the right to film, photograph, stream, live-stream, and use the likeness, image, name, and location of the participants.


7. In order to help participants have the best experience, the Organizations may, from time to time, share the basic details collected during the purchase, checkout, or subscription process, within the Organizations, its partners, and/or affiliates (as the Organizations determine). You may request in writing to not have this information shared.


8. As part of the purchase, checkout, or subscription process, you may be entered into the Organizations system(s) and may receive communication from the Organizations, the organizers, their related products, divisions (including its parent organization), partners, and/or affiliates (as the Organizations determine). If you no longer wish to receive communications from the Organizations, you may unsubscribe at any time.


9. By proceeding to purchase and checkout any of the Organizations programs, such as but not limited to an event ticket, retreat, trip, class, dinner, subscription, or other program with a waitlist, the purchaser may have the option to have their payment information stored. Under these circumstances, you are understood to be in agreement with "your payment information [being] stored on a secure server for this future purchase."


For some events, retreats, or trips where tickets or reservations are made through, or on behalf of the Organizations, where the approval of registrants is required or the registrant is placed on a waitlist, your payment will be processed upon acceptance.


10. The Organizations reserve the right to modify and update any program pricing at any time. The Organizations also reserve the right to modify any and all pricing at any time, at which point any existing subscriber or member will be notified of the impending change.


11. The Organizations reserve the right to modify and update any part or all of these Terms and Conditions.


12. Should any part of these Terms and Conditions be found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall be binding with the same effect as if any invalid or unenforceable provision did not exist.

13. By proceeding with and completing a ticket purchase, registration, and/or subscription, or other purchase on the Organizations site, or sites utilized by the Organizations, and by accepting these Terms and Conditions you and all applicable ticket holders, subscribers, and registrants are hereby understood to be in agreeance with the Terms and Conditions enclosed herein.
