About Lisa Herman: 17 years with LAPD and is currently assigned to Training Division. She is in charge of organizing the curriculum for the Recruit training as well as the statistics for Training Division. In addition, she is responsible for Discovery requests from Keagan affairs Division. Lisa is trained as a mental health intervention instructor. Former Lone Soldier in the IDF,assigned to the Combat Fitness Training Center, where she conducted research on the combat fitness instructor program. Lisa was also the national champion of Israel in the 10,000 meters on the track. She was the Tel-Aviv half marathon champion 3 times 1990-1993. Lisa has won numerous gold medals at the World and Fire Police games in Track and field, Cross Country, road cycling, and surfing. She helped coached the Mira Costa Girls high school cross country team to the California State championship in 2020. She now coaches the LAPD women’s elite team.
